Moroccan Mint Tea

Description
A sweet and refreshing mint tea traditionally served with hospitality in Morocco.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp loose green tea leaves (gunpowder tea)
- 1 large bunch fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- 4 cups water
- 3-4 tbsp sugar, or to taste
Instructions
- 1Bring water to a boil in a teapot or saucepan.
- 2Add green tea leaves and boil for 1 minute.
- 3Add fresh mint leaves and sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar.
- 4Remove from heat and let steep for 3 minutes.
- 5Strain into small tea glasses from a height to create foam.
- 6Garnish with additional mint leaves.
- 7Serve hot.
