Grilled Fish with Chermoula

Description
Fish marinated in a flavorful North African sauce and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets (such as tilapia or sea bass)
- For the chermoula sauce:
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- 1In a food processor, combine all chermoula ingredients except olive oil. Pulse until finely chopped.
- 2With the processor running, slowly add olive oil until a paste forms.
- 3Pat fish fillets dry and place in a shallow dish.
- 4Spread half of the chermoula sauce over the fish, turning to coat both sides.
- 5Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- 6Preheat grill or broiler to medium-high heat.
- 7Grill or broil fish for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through and flakes easily.
- 8Serve with remaining chermoula sauce and lemon wedges.
